When data-only is enough
Maps, tickets, email, WhatsApp, FaceTime and Signal use data. You can keep those accounts registered to the existing home number while the Europe eSIM supplies internet.
Five separate capabilities
Keep bank SMS without roaming data
- Select the travel eSIM for cellular data.
- Disable data roaming on the home line.
- Turn off cellular-data switching.
- Keep the home line enabled only after checking its roaming charges.
- Do not move WhatsApp to the new number unless intended.
EU calling plans
Some larger European products include calling, but the allowed destinations, minutes and SMS vary. “Unlimited calls” may apply only within listed countries or to selected number types. Read the actual plan rather than relying on the card title.

Europe number FAQ
Does a Europe eSIM include a phone number?
Most do not. A number, calls and SMS must be explicitly included.
Can I keep WhatsApp on my normal number?
Yes. Use the travel eSIM for data without changing the WhatsApp account number.
Will a European number receive bank OTPs?
Not guaranteed. Keep your home SIM available if the bank requires its registered number.
