The four checks that expose weak plans
Brexit is not the plan rule
Many Europe eSIMs still include the UK; only the product list decides.
Common but not automatic
It appears in many packages despite not being in the EU. Confirm it explicitly.
Inspect country by country
Albania, Bosnia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia can vary between plans.
Europe or separate region
Some packages include it and others sell it separately.
Airport transfers count
A connection in a country outside the plan can matter when boarding passes, hotel messages or onward tickets are needed. Add every airport where mobile data is required, even without an overnight stay.
How to audit a regional plan
- Write the route in travel order.
- Open the exact package, not the regional landing page.
- Match every country and territory one by one.
- Check whether one allowance continues across borders.
- Save the country list and APN instructions offline.
- Leave network selection automatic during the crossing.
TripoSIM’s current Europe catalogue displays product families covering different totals, including 31, 34, 35 and 36 countries. This is why the individual list matters.

Europe coverage FAQ
Does a Europe eSIM work in the UK?
Many do, but the UK must appear in the exact package list.
Is Switzerland included?
Often, but not always. EU membership does not determine commercial coverage.
Does one eSIM work across the Balkans?
Only when every required Balkan country is listed in that exact plan.
